Insurance requirements:
For Student Solo or Rental operations, KC Aero Academy requires $20,000 of un-owned aircraft insurance. This is sometime refered to as "Hull Insurance". Liability insurance minimums are not specified, so the decision is up to you. Rental insurance is intended to protect you from claims and deductibles as a result of a loss and is standard practice for flight schools. Our recommended insurer is SkyWatch AI, but feel free to shop around.
