Wow we had the best day at KC Aero Academy! We went to Happy Hanger for breakfast not realizing it was at a local airport. I have lived in Wesley Chapel for twenty years and never discovered this gem! The food and service were excellent but what really made our day was we got to see planes fly in and out. My sons Camden and Kyle asked if we could one day fly on a plane so I asked the staff. We just took a flight with Mike Bennett the Academy Director and it really made my boys day! We learned so much, and I can't believe I had not done this sooner. Awesome experience and we will definitely do it again. My oldest said "game changer!" Thank you guys!!! That was really fun

The environment is friendly and welcoming to all students. They will work with your schedule and get you flying every day if that is something you’re looking for! While also providing a structure to keep you progressing as a successful pilot. I really enjoy my time with all the flight instructors at KC Aero Academy. My discovery flight was with Mike Bennett. Mike is fantastic; they instantly made me feel comfortable and welcome. I purchased my first block of training sessions, and my instructor is Sabrina Parkins. She is an incredible instructor, very knowledgeable, and wonderful to learn from. Safe and Fun, my favorite lady aviator ️!!!

 

I also flew with Terry; he is a wonderful instructor. He answered all of my questions and shared more information that made me feel more comfortable behind the yoke. Keith runs the maintenance side of the house. I was fortunate to purchase a flight with him in his World War II Stearman. Wow, where do I start with the thrilling departure of an open cockpit. Paramount views and the feeling of freedom. Like an eagle in flight, my smile may have outshone the sun (in my head).

I want to thank my husband's instructor, Mike, for the amazing experience he gave him today. I purchased a flight lesson for my husband for Christmas and we could not be more impressed with his experience. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything before take off and in real time throughout the flight. They traveled from our little airport here in Wesley Chapel to Clearwater/St Pete and back. I was sent the most amazing pictures of what he was seeing from above.
